Life is sometimes unpredictable: whether new job, new roommates or the great love, it always keeps new surprises in store for us. That’s why we prefer to stay flexible – with the new LIFT shelf, this is no longer a problem in your home!

The bookcase LIFT grows with us. If sometimes we are forced to consider furniture when placing our belongings, then in this case the opposite happens. Height-adjustable shelves are suitable for both large and small books. If desired, the shelf can be easily widened by adding vertical walls. When moving from one place to another, strong plywood details show their durability. For more convenient transport, the longest details are only 1.15 meters long. The width of the wider intermediate shelf is 49 cm (16 pieces), the width of the narrower width 18 cm (8 pieces).

Thanks to the airy construction, the sun’s rays fall though the shelf, creating a play of light on bright surfaces. The LIFT shelf is suitable for both modern and historic interiors. With a few books, it appears as a beautiful architectural structure of a piece of furniture. However, packed tightly with books, it remains modestly unnoticeable. The main keywords of the LIFT shelf are flexibility and consideration of individual wishes.

As a further development, the LIFT shelf can also be used as a home office. The home office version comes equipped with a 45 cm deep and 69 cm wide tabletop, this is instead of 1 intermediate shelf. You can choose the placement of the tabletop yourself. Either a sitting position with a height at 73 cm or a standing position with a height at 90 – 110 cm.

The high-quality shelf made of  12 mm birch plywood, Koskisen white HPL, very durable material or 16 mm oak veneered plywood or 12mm Forescolor-Valchromat (Organic Coloured Throught Wood Fibre Board) adapts to new needs. The stability of the shelf is maintained by the back grooves, they are between 9-19 cm, 96-106 cm, 124-134 cm and 211-221 cm when measured from the floor. So everything that is important to you always finds its place. And should it be too tight, you simply just build more storage space!

We obtain wood, prefabricated components and other materials from partners we know and trust. This ensures that everything we put into our furniture meets our standards for beauty and performance and respects both the people that made them and the environment that created it.

All Radis furniture is made from natural birch plywood, also oak veneered, finished with oil wax. We use also HPL (high pressure laminate) coated plywood. All the plywood we use is CARB2 (free of formaldehyde), FSC certified and is sourced from trusted partners from Finland, Belgium and Estonia.

By making our furniture using only sustainable raw materials, we reduce and limit the environmental impact of the entire supply chain.

We use German Osmo and UK Treatex toned waxes, which are produced using state-of-the-art production methods. They ensure the best possible protection of your furniture, are environmentally friendly and suited for all interior wood surfaces. The wax is made from natural ingredients, which lets the wood breathe and maintain its natural beauty. Surfaces treated with oil wax are extra strong and durable while repelling water and dirt. The wax consists of natural vegetable oils and waxes like jojoba, linseed and sunflower oil, beeswax, candelilla and carnauba wax. It does not contain biocides and preservatives, which means that the it is physiologically safe and can even be used on treating toys.

All our products are manufactured in our factory in Tallinn, Estonia, North Europe.

While the surface will sustain stains from wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, juice, milk and other liquids these can be removed without any traces. Should rejuvenation of the surface be required, it can easily be done by cleaning and retreating the surface with oil wax. Wood veneer should only be cleaned with a damp cloth in the direction of the grain, and dried immediately after with a lint-free cloth. Spilled liquids should be quickly removed to avoid staining. Do not use furniture polish. And don’t place hot objects on the furniture, as this may result in discolouration.

The assembly instructions are attached to every products. The assembly itshelf is very easy and You just need a Phillips screwdriver. Should You later need to dismantle Your furnitue, You just have to perform the assembly instructions backwards.

Yes, we recommend attaching a furniture item to a wall if it is higher than 100 cm. We provide You with the right amount of wall brackets with furniture screws.

Most of the furniture is designed our  in-house team headed by Raul Abner. However we work also with other designers who love natural materials and minimalistic furniture.

However every time You receive a shipment from us, please check the package before signing the courier. Should You notice any damage, please contact us to submit a claim. We’ll need a picture of the furniture unit that is damaged. We work hard to send You new furniture piece as soon as possible, usually in a week.
